Cargo Services
We understand our clients’ need to ensure their valuable cargo is handled with care and its status is tracked and regularly reported. Mathers Freight Management is fully equipped to handle a wide range of cargo with service loads up to 35,000 kg.
Our personnel are fully trained and certified to handle hazardous cargoes and to offer appropriate packaging, labeling and documentation to meet international (IMO), air (IATA) and domestic (TDG) regulations.
Container Handling
A major focus of our service offering is the consolidation and de-consolidation of a wide variety of cargoes. Our facility is fully equipped to handle on-site container transferring and storage for all container types; dry vans, tanks and flat racks. Outside of Halifax port locations; Mathers Freight Management, with multiple container machines and heavy forklifts, is the best equipped facility in Nova Scotia to handle full containers and heavy freight. Our clients appreciate our container storage space which presents an economical, centrally located and quick access alternative to Halifax’s container piers.
Warehousing & Distribution
With 25,000 sq ft of warehouse space, grade and dock level doors, full racking and inventory systems, Mathers Freight Management can efficiently and economically handle your freight movement needs.
Mathers Freight Management also offers clients customized receiving, inventory and quality assurance services; with extensive experience in verification and order accuracy follow-up for client procurement systems.
Our facility has been designated by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) as the official truck sufferance warehouse in Nova Scotia.
